Core Doctrinal Beliefs of Legacy Alliance Trust

Primary Doctrinal Positions

This template outlines the core theological framework held by the Legacy Alliance Trust. These principles guide our teaching, preaching, and community governance.

1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible, and supreme authority in all matters of faith and life. It is the ultimate standard against which all human conduct and creeds must be measured.

2. The Triune God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each is identical in nature, equal in power and glory, and deserving of the same worship and obedience.

3. The Person and Work of Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, who became man without ceasing to be God. We affirm His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death on the cross as full payment for sins, bodily resurrection, ascension, and promised return.

4. Salvation by Grace

We believe salvation is a gift of God brought to humanity by grace alone and received through personal faith in Jesus Christ. True freedom is found when an individual surrenders their life, becoming a voluntary servant to righteousness.

5. The Church and Fellowship

We believe the church is a spiritual body composed of all true believers. The local expression of this body is called to function as an alliance—interconnected, sharing accountability, and bound together in unified service.
