Article V: Sacerdotal Functions & Services

As an independent ecclesiastical body, this Ministry Trust reserves the right to define, govern, and administer all sacred ceremonies, ordinances, and sacraments in strict conformity with our deeply held religious convictions and Statement of Faith.

Section 1: Regular Religious Worship Services

The Ministry shall maintain regular gatherings for public worship, prayer, biblical instruction, and corporate fellowship. These services provide the foundational assembly for the Legacy Alliance Trust community and are overseen directly by the Senior Trustee and designated elders.

Section 2: Holy Christian Weddings

We believe marriage is a sacred institution ordained directly by God. To protect the theological integrity of the ministry, the following parameters apply to all wedding ceremonies performed by our ministers or held on church property:

Biblical Definition: In alignment with our Statement of Faith, marriage is strictly recognized as the exclusive, covenantal union between one genetic male and one genetic female.
Ministerial Discretion: The Senior Trustee or officiating minister retains the sole authority to approve or deny couples for marriage based on pre-marital counseling assessments.

Property and Officiating Restriction: No minister ordained by this trust shall officiate, and no facility owned by this trust shall host, any wedding ceremony that deviates from this biblical definition.

Section 3: Sacramental Baptisms

Baptism is observed as an external public declaration of an internal spiritual transformation and voluntary surrender to Jesus Christ.

Baptismal Policy

Mode of Baptism: We practice believer’s baptism by full immersion as the biblical model.

Eligibility: Candidates must be able to articulate a personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Infants and young children are not baptized, but may participate in a baby dedication ceremony.

Preparation: All candidates are required to complete pre-baptismal counseling and provide a written or verbal testimony of their faith.

Authority: Baptisms shall be administered by the Senior Trustee or those authorized by the Board of Trustees.

Section 4: Christian Funerals & Memorials

The Ministry provides funeral and memorial services to offer spiritual comfort, grief support, and hope to families navigating loss, while pointing the bereaved to the eternal promises found in scripture.

Purpose: Services are designed to honor the deceased, comfort the living, and reverently proclaim the hope of the resurrection.
Scheduling & Facility Use: Priority for facility use and pastoral care is given to regular members of the covenant alliance, though community requests may be accommodated at the discretion of the Senior Trustee.

Section 5: Ordinations and Commissioning

The Board of Trustees holds the exclusive right to legally and ecclesiastically ordain, license, or commission ministers, missionaries, and church officers. Candidates must pass a doctrinal review and demonstrate the character qualifications outlined in Article III.
