We chose this name based on three core biblical convictions:
In his New Testament letters, the Apostle Paul frequently introduces himself not by his titles or achievements, but as a doulos—a Greek word translating to a "bondservant" or "bondsman" of Jesus Christ.
A bond implies connection. We are an alliance—a family of believers bound together by the blood of Christ.
To be a Bondsman is to have a defined purpose. We are bound to love our neighbors, serve our city, and proclaim the Gospel.
We are not bound by fear, guilt, or legalism. We are bound by love.
We submit fully to the authority of Scripture, shaping our lives, doctrine, and practices entirely around God's unchanging Word.
We reject isolation. We actively choose deep accountability, mutual support, and authentic fellowship as a bound family of faith.
We hold nothing back from Christ. Our time, resources, talents, and futures belong to Him in joyful, voluntary servitude.
We actively seek out the broken, the hurting, and the forgotten, putting love into motion through hands-on local and global outreach.
